Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) monitor braking, speed, and steering and either automatically reacts or alerts the driver to enhance driver safety.
Windscreen mounted cameras are critical to ADAS car safety systems. If your car has an ADAS camera then you will need to re-calibrate after collisions, repairs (such as suspension or bumpers) or windscreen replacements that affect the positioning of the sensors to ensure the system continues to operate as intended.
We provide calibration in our workshops for many ADAS systems including:
- ACC (adaptive cruise control)
- AEB (autonomous emergency braking)
- LDW (lane departure warning)
- Traffic sign recognition
- Headlight main beam assist
- Cross traffic alert
- Blind spot assistance
- 360 camera
For ADAS camera calibrations our workshops are used as it’s a controlled environment using specialist equipment, however for some systems the car must be moving to complete the calibration.
